Bridgemary Medical Centre stands with Nepal

Many of you will know Dr Karki, one of our much-valued GPs here at Bridgemary Medical Centre.

Dr Karki is from Nepal, and the devastating floods and landslides affecting the country are therefore particularly close to home for our practice. Tragically, her own family has been personally affected by the disaster.

Our thoughts are very much with Dr Karki, her family and friends, and with all those in Nepal who have lost loved ones, homes and communities.

The partners at Bridgemary Medical Centre have made a generous donation to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund – Government of Nepal, and we would like to invite our patients and members of our local community to join us in showing their support.

There is absolutely no expectation to donate, but if you are able and would like to help, donations can be made directly to the official Government of Nepal disaster relief fund here:

Using the official fund helps ensure that donations go directly towards the relief effort.

Even if you are unable to donate, we know that Dr Karki and her family will appreciate the thoughts and good wishes of the Bridgemary community at what is an incredibly difficult time.

From everyone at Bridgemary Medical Centre — we stand with Dr Karki, her family and the people of Nepal.
