Missing Appointments Repeatedly Can Affect Your Registration
If you miss two or more appointments without letting us know, we may send you a written warning. Continued missed appointments could result in removal from our patient list, following NHS guidance.
Missed Appointments Waste Valuable Time
When someone doesn’t attend, another patient loses the chance to be seen. Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you can’t make it, so we can offer the appointment to someone else.
Not Contacting Us May Lead to Further Action
If you miss an appointment and don’t get in touch with a valid reason, it will be recorded as a DNA. Repeated DNAs will be reviewed by the Practice Manager and may result in formal letters or possible removal from the practice.
